Abstract


This IDC Market Perspective provides highlights from AWS' signature global event re:Invent, which recently took place in Las Vegas and attracted more than 50 000 attendees from across the world. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this was the first time that AWS ran a full capacity re:Invent in three years.

"At re:Invent AWS tackled major challenges that cloud providers are facing right now, from supporting clients with business value-focused solutions such as AWS Supply Chain to responding to sovereignty, cloud management, and sustainability requirements.
