Abstract


This IDC Perspective lists the key takeaways from several analysts who attended EY's first worldwide analyst meeting in five years in San Francisco, April 15–16, all focused on the topic of rethinking EY. The meeting included a site visit to the Palace of Fine Arts where clients engaged in a two-day event to get a comprehensive showcase of EY's offers, capabilities, and assets. EY's updated strategy for the fiscal year starting July 1 was not covered and will be forthcoming.

"Although EY's new strategy will not be unveiled until we get closer to July 1, it's clear from this analyst event that EY has rethought several parts of its business," said Gard Little, research vice president, Global Services Markets and Trends at IDC. "Buyers can already learn a lot about what's changed by looking at EY's actions over the past several months."
