Abstract
This IDC Survey aims at assessing EMEA organizations' approach and knowledge on quantum computing and adjacent technologies. Leveraging the results of IDC's 2022 EMEA Emerging Technologies Survey, this report focuses on understanding the overall quantum scenario in EMEA in terms of current and future adoption, use cases, and constraining factors.
While quantum technologies are still at an early stage of maturity, and more at an R&D phase, they are starting to gain traction across organizations, which are showing strong interest in understanding, adopting, and developing their own quantum-related solutions. "Commercial maturity is still far, but organizations are increasingly looking to explore and experiment with quantum technologies," said Giulia Carosella, research manager for IDC's European Digital Business Strategies.
