Abstract


This IDC Survey Spotlight looks at the principal stakeholders driving employee experience (EX) transformation and AI enablement. HR is a conduit of transformation linking the front and back offices. While early efforts to channel employee feedback into responsive actions commonly originate in the front office, HR is the dominant stakeholder to formalize employee listening as a core competency. Insights drawn from the voice of the employee (VoE) kick off EX transformation and the journey to maturity that leverages investigative, predictive, and generative AI to personalize resource deployment, delivery, and engagement in the flow of work for enhanced, employee-led growth and achievement. Acting on VoE insights renders HR as an early and frequent stakeholder for AI frameworks that leads to a distinct and collaborative partnership with IT to extend personalization frameworks companywide.
