This IDC study provides an updated market forecast for the worldwide customer service applications software market from 2023 to 2027.
"IDC survey research data reveals that even in the current climate of possible recession and inflation activities, investment in customer experience is one of the three top IT initiatives most immune to budget cuts," says Mary Wardley, program VP, Customer Service and Contact Center Applications, "Line-of-business respondents placed it as second-most immune. Such a high placement in the responses reflects the importance that initiatives that impact the customer and their experience have become within organizations."
