This IDC Survey Spotlight examines retailers' investment focus in HR and finance, highlighting the growing importance of employee experience (EX) as a key use case and technology investment. Based on results from IDC's Global Retail Operating Model Survey, 2022, this document aims to provide an overview of the implementation of innovative EX technologies such as AR/VR for employee productivity and employees' mobile apps now and in the next two years as well as across different retail subindustries.
