Abstract

This IDC Market Presentation examines the results of IDC's 2022 Worldwide C-Suite Survey and provides investment and recession sentiments from European executives. The findings of this survey offer European C-suite executives a view of their peers in the region and helps tech vendors understand the evolving priorities of these executives.

IDC research shows that European C-suite executives have the customer as the focal point for both their business and technology priorities. These executives face challenges around creating and nurturing collaboration internally but believe their technology spending will increase into 2023 (even despite economic challenges).

"European C-suite executives are facing new and emerging storms of disruption. However, they remain optimistic about the benefits of continued technology investment to navigate these storms and emerge with a stronger digital business," says Dave Clemente, research director for European C-Suite, IDC Europe.
