Abstract


This IDC Survey is based on the Asia/Pacific set of marketing respondents of IDC's Worldwide C-Suite Tech Survey, conducted in fall 2023. The overall Asia/Pacific (including Japan) (APJ) set is of 295 respondents, while there are 35 APJ marketing respondents. Marketing respondents include CMO, EVP, and SVP titles across China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and New Zealand.

This document focuses on the survey's implications for marketing leaders and, subsequently, relevant considerations for marketing technology (martech) suppliers. The document is designed to help understand generative AI (GenAI) insights, such as strategy, and the key factors marketing executives consider when evaluating potential GenAI partners.
