We are living through a crucial moment in the fight against climate change. After years of talk, governments are taking bold action and setting ambitious targets. At the same time, new technologies known as “clean tech” are maturing and opening ways to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions without dramatically reducing growth. In particular, data analytics is already helping to drive the green transition in precision agriculture, energy efficient buildings, climate disaster prediction, carbon emissions tracking and more. The high-level roundtable on Data4Green will address questions such as: how can we increase the speed and scale of data analytics in the service of European-green-deal delivery? What are the main bottlenecks? And what are the policy actions that can help deliver?
