Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight presents key findings from IDC's February 2024 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 2 (n = 896). The overall survey focused on issues related to IT leaders' economic outlook, 2024 IT spending plans, and the impact that GenAI is having on those decisions. This survey of 896 respondents in North America, Asia/Pacific, and Western Europe was conducted in February 2024 while IT leaders were starting to execute on initial GenAI plans and developing longer-term road maps. This IDC Survey Spotlight examines organizational usage of different data types for GenAI, as well as concerns and challenges related to that data, and what this means for search and knowledge discovery vendors.
