Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight examines results from IDC's latest SSE/SASE Buyer Adoption Survey. The survey dives deep into buyer perspectives on security priorities, experiences, and expectations. Existing networking and security investments for most organizations focus around on-premises software and physical appliances, which represent the traditional control points underpinning their stack of networking and security technologies. As SSE/SASE products are deployed, the buyer's reliance on traditional, on-premises components is reduced, seeing a continual decline of importance over the deployment process.
