Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights how MDR vendors provide (or don't provide) threat intelligence that is customized for each of their customers. Differences are noted among different industries in the level of customization of threat intelligence that they receive from their MDR provider.
The factors are pulled from IDC's September 2023 Managed Detection and Response Survey. Survey respondents have utilized MDR services for at least a year and filled at least one of the following criteria:
- Survey respondent is part of the team or the final decision-maker for selecting an MDR provider.
- Survey respondent is part of the team that engages with their MDR service provider on a day-to-day basis.
- Survey respondent influences decisions related to their organization's MDR provider.
