Abstract
This IDC Survey is based on IDC's December 2023 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 11 (n = 881). It shows that overall IT spending is expected to increase. GenAI is a hot investment area; therefore, even companies that plan to decrease overall IT spend, plan to increase spend on GenAI solutions. Surprisingly, companies in North America lag behind their counterparts in Western Europe and Asia/Pacific regions on GenAI investment plans, with more than triple the number of companies reportedly not doing anything yet.
