Abstract


This IDC Survey aims to provide technology vendors with an overview of the key business trends shaping the future of work and manufacturing industry in 2024. Manufacturing companies need to adapt to new technologies, processes, and new ways of working and strengthen their talent and career planning strategies to attract, retain, and upskill their current workforce. Global manufacturers stand to gain significantly from improving employee experience, with benefits like boosted employee productivity and loyalty, leading to sustained performance improvements.
