Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight seeks to identify the factors that might make organizations consider changing or adding another cloud platform vendor in organizations. Large organizations say a better application platform that enables developers to focus on high-value tasks is the top factor that makes them choose another cloud platform vendor. The pain in the cloud continues to be at the intersection of development and operations. The survey data also emphasizes security and/or data privacy as a top pain point for smaller organizations.
