Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight provides insight into global enterprises expectation for adopting satellite services as part of their enterprise connectivity footprint. With less than 10% of enterprises using satellite services today, the growth of LEO satellite offerings, service bundling, and competitive pricing will bring greater connectivity resiliency to the enterprise, with transportation/logistics and oil and gas industries as the earliest adopters.
The data in this Survey Spotlight comes from IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 8, fielded in August/September of 2023, with 888 IT decision-making respondents from enterprises in across North American, European, and Asia/Pacific countries.
