Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight analyzes data from IDC's September 2023 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending (FERS) Survey, which asked 888 global respondents where they see generative AI (GenAI) impacting their network and security strategy the most.
"The era of AI everywhere, triggered by the advent of generative AI, is causing organizations to consider how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) can be used to enhance their business, including the management of their enterprise networks," said Brandon Butler, research manager, Enterprise Networks at IDC. "There are a variety of use cases for applying AI/ML to network management platforms, but IDC survey data points to key areas of interest among end users as being optimizing network security, improving customer experience, and accelerating network planning and optimization."
