Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight presents the results of IDC's recent Return to the Office Survey. We asked respondents to indicate, regardless of printing location, the directional trend for printing 11 common document types through the beginning of 2024. The survey was conducted with over 500 U.S. respondents in September 2022. Maintaining current volumes was consistently the highest response for all document types, but when comparing the responses for lessened volumes with the responses for increased volumes, we observed an even mix of document types that had lessened volumes as a higher response and document types that had increased volumes as a higher response.
