Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight reviews the results of the following question: "Which of the following areas are most immune to budget reduction regardless of the economic environment?" With the geopolitical upheaval in 2022, the reopening after the pandemic, and now the threat of recession (if we are not already in it), businesses are taking a hard look at their priorities and reevaluating their investments to try to reign in their budgets. This document contains data from IDC's 2023 Future of Enterprise Resiliency and Spending (FERS) Survey, Wave 1. The purpose of the FERS Survey is to explore a range of topics related to IT spending priorities, enterprise resiliency, and organization priorities moving into the new normal.
