Abstract
This IDC Tech Buyer Presentation identifies and explores the top trends that are impacting OT systems in 2023. Today's operational technology (OT) is moving forward by leveraging data-driven operations, cloud networks, and automation. These technologies are being adopted to connect operational technology systems that have been historically analog and disconnected. These features are now becoming crucial components of a company's OT digital transformation plan. The goals of flexible manufacturing and sustainability are dependent on how efficient OT systems will become. These efficiencies can be reached with autonomous manufacturing, robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, and Internet of Things connected networks.
