Abstract
This IDC Survey describes the spending intentions of IT and line-of-business buyers that are using external service providers to assist with digital transformation. The worldwide sample size of 755 respondents included participants from 18+ countries across the Americas, Asia/Pacific, and EMEA. In addition, respondents provided insight on which business processes are most selected for transformation, what were the most cited benefits from digital transformation projects, and decarbonization, digital innovation, and digital operations efforts and plans. Finally, buyer perceptions of vendor cohorts and insights about the vendor selection process were included, including trends in project sponsorship over the past eight years and other roles in purchasing behavior as well.
