This IDC Survey Spotlight depicts how global enterprises will react to increased rates brought forth by customer experience (CX) technology providers or CX service providers (renegotiate, pursue other low-cost providers, demand demonstration of KPIs, etc.).

This IDC Survey Spotlight is based on data collected in IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 9 (October 2022). Companies around the world are looking to adapt to recurring storms of disruptions while seeking to leverage digital capabilities to accelerate business operations and automate processes. This survey was conducted to gauge the impact of these priorities on IT spending and organizational resilience. The survey sample size included over 800 global respondents across 18 countries. Survey topics include business priorities and impact of economic uncertainties on IT spending, recession, digital business, customer experience, Internet of Things, and industry ecosystems.
