Abstract
This IDC Survey examines the finance transformation initiatives finance and accounting business process service providers have executed today for global enterprises versus what buyers want them to execute in the next three to five years. This analysis provides a breakdown by industry including the finance, manufacturing healthcare/life sciences, services, transportation/communications/utilities, retail/wholesale, and education sectors.
Data depicted in this presentation comes from IDC's 2022 Worldwide Finance and Accounting Business Process Services Survey, which was fielded from August to October 2022. This study surveyed almost 800 buyers and decisions makers of outsourced finance and accounting business process services with a representation across macroregions (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, China, and Australia), company sizes, industries, and IT/LOB roles and job titles, including CFOs and heads of finance.
