This IDC study lays out a road map for the development, management, and evolution of a resilient enterprise connectivity fabric that can adapt, scale, and evolve based on competitive market, network, and customer demands.
"As enterprises adapt technology and business process to the new normal, creating a seamless and integrated connectivity 'fabric' of networks, clouds, datacenter assets, applications, processes, and services should be a priority," commented Paul Hughes, research director for IDC's Future of Connectedness Agenda Program. "Connectivity-driven organizations are those that concentrate on the linkage between endpoints, and this fabric allows enterprises to embrace every aspect of a digital-first strategy and use it to drive positive business outcomes."
