This IDC study presents the forecast data for the worldwide PC market for 2023–2027.
"In total, the PC market fell 16.6% in 2022," states Linn Huang, research vice president, Devices and Displays, IDC. "Yet, the worst might not be behind us. Persistent inventory issues and worsening macro conditions all but ensure that 2023 will also be a slog. Yet, prospects are strong for 2024. Economic recovery timed with the next major refresh cycle boosted by a major Windows migration creates a perfect confluence of market opportunities for 2024 and beyond."
