The Middle East and Africa (MEA) region's public cloud market is undergoing a dynamic transformation that is reshaping the entire cloud ecosystem. This report offers an in-depth look at how CIOs' perceptions significantly influence their decision making when procuring cloud services. It provides a comprehensive analysis of MEA CIOs' interactions with cloud vendors and service providers (SPs), highlighting their preferred vendors in the SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS categories. Additionally, the report explores the critical factors shaping CIOs' views and decision-making processes around cloud. This study is based on the findings of IDC's Cloud Survey 2023, which surveyed over 500 CIOs from various industries across the MEA region.
