This IDC Market Forecast summarizes the outlook for the Japan carrier multi-access edge cloud (MEC) services market and forecasts the market size from 2023 to 2027.
Although the development of the carrier MEC market is basically left to market competition and capital investment by individual companies, it may be difficult to create a virtuous cycle of monetization through data utilization and capital investment in carrier MEC because of market forces.
