Abstract
In December 2023, IDC surveyed more than 600 enterprises worldwide about the key issues and challenges they face within the identity and access management (IAM) domain. One notable trend observed in 2023 was the rapidly rising adoption of cloud infrastructure entitlements management (CIEM).
This IDC Survey Spotlight looks at the drivers of CIEM adoption among the European organizations that took part in the research; it also highlights the outcomes that have been achieved by organizations that have already put CIEM into practice. This spotlight provides a snapshot of the data collected in IDC's Global Identity Management Assessment Survey, 2023, and more extensive insights are available upon request.
