This IDC Survey Spotlight examines the sentiment of European CISOs regarding their intended security capability investments in 2024. The findings show that the top 2 areas of interest for CISOs are identity and access management as well as security analytics.
CISOs are looking for greater visibility into who and what is trying to access their networks. They recognize the importance of protecting their identity infrastructure and processes, improving their ability to detect and respond to identity-driven attacks, and reducing their organizations' identity attack surfaces. Robust and connected security analytics is essential to this process and can improve efficiency across a range of security operational areas, including security information and event management (SIEM) as well as security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR).
