Abstract

This IDC Market Presentation highlights the three stages of the organizational design of digital-native businesses (DNBs) in Europe — from start-up to scale-up to mature — and how they influence the dynamics between some of the main C-suite roles and functions, from developing new products and services to technology buying decisions.

This report starts by defining the key elements characterizing organizational design for European start-ups, scale-ups, and mature digital natives; how maturity and funding stage relate to organizational structure and tech investments; and what key performance indicators (KPIs) are used to measure corporate success.

This report also shows where European DNBs' new digital product and service ideas originate, the main C-suite dynamics and the role of CEOs when managing digital initiatives, and the key C-suite decision makers behind main tech purchasing decisions in the three stages mentioned.

This report concludes with some key recommendations to tech providers to target their go-to-market strategies for European start-ups, scale-ups, and mature DNBs.
