Abstract
This IDC Survey highlights EMEA telecommunication service providers' telecoms transformation strategies based on IDC's 2023 EMEA Telco Transformation Survey. Between May and July 2023, IDC conducted an online survey of 115 European and 35 MEA telecommunication service providers to better understand how they are transforming their businesses.
The survey aims to capture valuable, real-time insights into the attitudes, concerns, and plans of qualified telecom and network decision makers across EMEA and the ways their priorities will change over the next two years. The survey presentation identifies telecommunication service providers' strategies around network monetization and operations, including OSS/BSS, cloud, AI, software as a service (SaaS), and application programming interface (API) ecosystems. It also provides an overview of companies' network investment priorities, challenges, and service provider preferences.
