Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights selected findings from IDC's 2023 Trust in Data Survey. It looks at whether companies are using a data platform (data warehouse, data lake, or data lakehouse) in Europe. Surprisingly, 10% said they are not. But there were also interesting findings on how many of those that are using these have only opened them up to their data teams, rather than business users. The survey shone a light on the democratization of data analytics in European firms.
