Abstract
This IDC Market Note covers the DTW Ignite event, which returned to Copenhagen for a second year, with a larger number of exhibitors and attendees. Many of the conversations at the show were driven by considerations for emerging use cases for generative AI within the telecoms industry. But under the surface, the texture of the event highlighted the need for telcos to maintain their shared focus on executing their digital transformation projects already underway. These include the implementation of API-based IT architectures, optimization of data frameworks to drive improved operational and customer insights, and the fundamental revitalization of their workforce skills and culture.
