Abstract
This IDC Perspective provides a view on the state of the skills market for app development and delivery professionals across Europe. Topics include views on some of the main challenges organizations face as part of their efforts to scale their in-house app/delivery programs, the evolution of the skills deficit curve, and key skills and knowledge capabilities sought to drive execution of digital programs.
"App development remains a key battleground for organizations in various industries, and that has deep implications on the wider strategies of organizations, affecting very important dimensions such as recruitment, retainment, and training," said George Mironescu, IDC's App Development/Delivery research lead in Europe.
