Abstract
This IDC Market Presentation provides insights into the relative significance of different factors in the allocation of workload deployments across different deployment options and the continuing relevance of cybersecurity and compliance requirements. This document also highlights the impact of top workloads on the demand for interconnected hybrid and multicloud infrastructure environments and unified management control solutions.
The findings are based on IDC's Future of Digital Infrastructure Worldwide Sentiment Survey conducted in May and June of 2023. The survey polled 138 senior Canadian IT and line-of-business decision makers (among 876 survey participants worldwide) on the current state of their digital infrastructure environments, evolution of digital infrastructure operating models for governance, financial management, sourcing and ecosystem strategies, and the role of digital infrastructure investments and operating models in achieving top priority business goals.
