Abstract

This IDC Perspective offers insights into the evolution of xOps from DevOps and how xOps plays an important role in shaping the new AI stack in Asia/Pacific. xOps is a relatively new word in DevOps but is quickly gaining traction. It integrates many cycles of designing, implementing, and maintaining the knowledge and processes required to monitor and sustain analytics and AI pipelines. xOps is seen as an essential practice since it enables firms to become more agile and responsive to changing market conditions and consumer requirements.

"To stay competitive in an era of rapid technological development, companies must be able to swiftly adapt to new tools and procedures. xOps can help organizations become more inventive and flexible in the face of fast changes by bringing together teams and individuals with diverse talents and views," says Dhiraj Badgujar, senior research manager, IDC Asia/Pacific's Digital Innovation Practice and xOps Program.
