Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights data from IDC’s 2023 India Digital Business Survey concerning the investments in low-/no-code development technologies compared with other technologies. About 33% of India enterprises said they plan to significantly increase investments in technology platforms and tools (app development and testing, including low/no code) for the majority of their overall development activities in 2023–2024. This increased use of low-/no-code technologies is driven by the growing involvement of non-IT personnel in app development, high costs of IT labor, long duration of traditional development, and maturation of agile processes.
