Abstract
This IDC FutureScape presents IDC Financial Insights' view of the top 10 predictions for payments strategies as they apply to the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) region. Payments in the region continue to see dramatic changes with new payment types continuing to emerge. The region is still deep in its transformation and recording one of the first cross-border real-time payment initiatives implemented at scale in the world. IDC’s predictions in this document contextualized for the Asia/Pacific region allow financial institutions to better understand and identify the major changes that will impact their business and offer guidance on how to reposition themselves to successfully navigate future challenges in payments.
