Abstract

"SD-WAN is driven by digital transformation (DX) and digitalization of services and operations, which necessarily will include private, hybrid, and public cloud platforms. Edge security/Secure access service edge (SASE), secure web gateways, intelligent edge, automation, and programming application programming interfaces (APIs) will be important priorities in the next several years for organizations. Bandwidth management and scaling and flexible pricing schemes will be imperative for managed SPs that want to succeed in the managed SD-WAN space," says Bill Rojas, adjunct research director, IDC Asia/Pacific. "APEJ has multiple industrial supply chain clusters in the region in automotive, semiconductors, and testing, and electronic components and systems, and all of these clusters of supply chain companies will benefit from migrating to SD-WAN network infrastructure," he adds.
