Abstract
This IDC Survey uses data from IDC's 2022 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending (FERS) Survey. It examines how Asia/Pacific (including Japan) (APJ) digital-native businesses (DNBs) look at the usage of generative AI (GenAI) solutions, planned investments, specific investment areas, most promising use cases, and in which areas companies expect GenAI to have the biggest impact. It also highlights the general business attitudes toward data management, data ethics toward AI/ML, and data sovereignty.
Additionally, the report provides an overview of GenAI startups in APJ, including examples of companies leveraging GenAI technology in their solutions or providing GenAI solutions.
