This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights the results of IDC's latest SSE/SASE Buyer Adoption Survey, which dives deep into buyer perspectives on security priorities, experiences, and expectations. Despite its lasting "staying power" in network security, VPN's performance and security limitations are standing in the way of security modernization. The majority of survey respondents that have purchased a ZTNA noted that they have already or fully expect to replace their VPN solution with ZTNA within three years.
