This IDC Survey Spotlight examines to what extend IT and service vendors' "AI for Good" initiatives impact buyers' perception and procurement decisions. Data comes from IDC's 2024 AI and Sustainability Survey.
IDC defines "AI for Good" programs as AI-led initiatives that do not primarily focus on generating a financial ROI, but solely or primarily on doing good and positive sustainable outcomes (e.g., through corporate social responsibility [CSR] or philanthropic efforts).
