This IDC Survey Spotlight examines the impact of new GenAI workloads and digital infrastructure on the IT operations resource head count. GenAI is poised to revolutionize various facets of business operations, including IT operations.
"Despite the anticipated surge in workloads and digital infrastructure stemming from GenAI, there is a discernible trend toward mitigating the strain on IT resources through adopting newly evolving GenAI tools," said Jim Mercer, program vice president of Software Development, DevOps and DevSecOps at IDC.
