Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight examines results derived from IDC's January 2024 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 1. Findings are presented on a worldwide basis to provide updates and new insights on IT leaders' attitudes and expectations for GenAI adoption and governance in the next 18 months. The survey findings show that cybersecurity personnel that have security as their primary function are both more aware of external service providers' use of AI and more concerned by its use. This online survey has a sample size of 881 spread across North America, Asia/Pacific, and Europe.
