Abstract
IDC Innovators are emerging vendors with revenue of less than $100 million that have demonstrated either a groundbreaking business model or an innovative new technology — or both. This IDC Innovators study highlights three technology vendors, HiddenLayer, Mindgard, and Robust Intelligence, that offer AI security solutions. Because of risks around manipulation of AI algorithms, securing AI applications and models goes beyond the usual cybersecurity technologies. These three vendors have developed AI-specific protection solutions to help prevent, detect, and mitigate adversarial attacks against AI.
"While today's cybersecurity technologies are helpful in protecting AI models and applications, AI presents different risks that are best served by technologies that are specifically designed to assess vulnerabilities, test structures, and prevent and detect attacks in AI systems," said Michelle Abraham, research director, Security and Trust at IDC.
