They must modernize their systems to successfully leverage AI and enable their enterprises to remain competitive. The process of modernizing legacy technology involves a series of steps.
"Legacy modernization is a strategic imperative, and technology leaders must persistently allocate resources, attention, and plans to enable it," says Niel Nickolaisen, adjunct research advisor for IDC's IT Executive Programs (IEP).
