Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight looks at expectations for security information and event management (SIEM) spending in 2024 from IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, which was fielded in October 2023. As seen the prior year, more organizations expect their SIEM spending to increase in 2024 as opposed to staying the same or declining when compared with their spending in 2023. Organizations should consider their options for optimizing their SIEM costs and ensuring they are receiving value for amount spent.
