This IDC Survey Spotlight discusses data from IDC's GenAI ARC Survey. 1,187 respondents were asked about which GenAI-related business benefits the C-suite has most sought information or advice about from IT leadership as well as the top areas of focus IT leaders say their C-suite is planning to integrate GenAI into existing applications or business processes. 44% of IT decision-makers say improving customer experience/service is the GenAI-related business benefit that the C-suite has most sought information or advice from IT leadership. In addition, 44% said customer-facing applications was a top area of focus for their C-suite when it comes to integrating GenAI into existing applications or business processes.
