Abstract
This IDC Survey details results from IDC's 2023 Commercial Smartphone, Wearables, and Smart Office Survey, which was fielded in December. The survey asked respondents questions regarding enterprise adoption of and attitudes toward a variety of devices and services deployed across the organization. This IDC Survey focuses on aspects of the survey related to the use of smart assistants in the workplace.
"Usage of smart assistant platforms in the workplace is low," said Adam Wright, research manager for IDC's Smart Home and Office Devices program. "Concerns around security and privacy and an unclear or unproven return on investment (ROI) are holding adoption back. Vendors need to do more to provide holistic solutions that include the necessary hardware, software, services, and systems integration to make deployments easier while ensuring that messages of ROI are resonating with relevant stakeholders across the organization."
