This IDC study presents an updated forecast for the worldwide wearable computing device market for 2024–2028.
"As the worldwide wearables market takes slow steps toward maturity, we keep finding new products and opportunities," points out Ramon T. Llamas, research director for IDC's Wearables team. "New products like glasses and rings are starting to gain salience. Artificial intelligence will also play a key role in defining how owners can use wearables. And first-time users within emerging markets will find fully featured devices that fit their budgets. All of these and more keep pushing the wearables market up and to the right."
